Wonderful Catholic Children Book

Here are some of newest children books out from Ignatius Press and my kids are loving them!  Here are our thoughts of the books and also the links plus 10% off with code HEATHER10

1) Young Saints

Through lively stories, comic strips, historical background, and prayers, get to know these 15 young models of faith and holiness: Saint Blandina, Saint Tarcisius, Saint Aloysius Gonzaga, Saint Kateri Tekakwitha, Saint Dominic Savio, Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati, Saints Francisco and Jacinta Marto, Venerable Anne de Guigné, Saint José Luis Sánchez del Rio, Blessed Marcel Callo, Venerable Antonietta Meo, Servant of God Claire de Castelbajac, Blessed Sandra Sabattini, Blessed Chiara Badano, and Blessed Carlo Acutis.

2) Seek & Find the twelve Apostles

This is my daughter Maria who is 4 years old!  She loves finding all the people and animals.  It is look a Christian version of Where is Waldo.  We have several of these books and they are a family favorite!

3) The Swiss Guard

The courageous and loyal Swiss Guard swear to protect the pope with their very lives. Here is a fascinating inside look into their history and what it takes to become one of the most elite soldiers in the world.

Marc, the main character, wants to become a Swiss Guard. While following him from his first interest in the Guard to his first assignment as a young sentinel, discover the history, the mission, the training, and the way of life of the Swiss Guards. The story is based on real events and historical research.

4) Bambinelli Sunday – This was a sweet story and a little boy visiting his grandparents who live in Italy.  While he is visiting his grandfather encourages to make a baby Jesus to get is blessed by the Pope on Bambinelli Sunday.  While on this adventure he has a great surprise!  This we a great book to read to my kids with good life lessons. 

5) The Boy Who Knew Carlo Acutis – 

The Boy Who Knew Carlo Acutis is the powerful and inspiring journey of a fictional teenage boy, Daniel, who has just been diagnosed with leukemia. At first reluctant to turn toward Blessed Carlo Acutis for help, Daniel finds in him a role model and a spiritual companion, who helps him to trust in God and to discover the meaning of life.

6) Turn Toward God –

So those are the books!  I am a big believer that teaching the faith to our children though these fun interesting books are a great way to encourage their faith!
